Virgin Mobile is getting into the Christmas spirit by giving away free pushbikes in a new brand campaign.
Launched this week, ‘A Fair Ride for All’ is a social media treasure hunt where users unlock clues online to to determine the real world location of the bikes, which are scattered across the nation. Virgin Mobile will give away 25 bikes each week for the next three weeks.
Users can access clues to the bikes whereabouts via the fairride.com.au website, where they choose their location and 'like' the bike they want to win. Details of how to participate are available on Virgin Mobile’s YouTube channel.
Daily updates are posted to the campaign's Facebook page, though these updates are only available to those who like the campaign page. Users can also follow clues on Twitter using the hashtag #FairRide.
‘A Fair Ride for All’ was devised by PR agency One Green Bean and is part of Virgin Mobile’s ‘Tis the season to be Free’ brand campaign.
The campaign will be promoted via radio, café screens, Facebook ads and print media.

Great idea - I really wanna find a bike ... so i want as few people to know about this comp as possible. Isn’t that anti-socialmedia?
